We
are very pleased to announce that renowned
wildlife film maker, photographer and
broadcaster Simon King has agreed to
be our patron. |
| |
Simon
was born in Kenya but soon moved to
Bristol where his love of the natural
world blossomed – his first film
‘The Willow’ was aired when
he was just 17! He will be familiar
to many of our members as a presenter
of both ‘Springwatch’ and
‘Autumnwatch’ on the BBC
as well as for fronting ‘Big Cat
Diary’. Simon’s Christmas
dramas such as ‘Tyto the Barn
Owl’ have received awards all
over the world and he won a BAFTA for
his camerawork on ‘Life in the
Freezer’. He has also contributed
scripts to some of David Attenborough’s
famous wildlife series and worked as
a principal cameraman on ‘The
Blue Planet’. |

Rollin,
Belgium based, travels the world for
his art. He is an outstanding wildlife
photographer. We came upon his website
early 2008 and found the most amazing
bat photos. We wrote to introduce ourselves
and asked if we might use his photos
'for free' for educational and fundraising
purposes and he kindly agreed. They
are now extensively featured on this
site, widely used in our fundraising
publicity and have become a regular
feature of our free training workshops.

Thank
you Rollin for your generosity. |
